Kustom Home Inspection

	Owner, Ken Harrington, began training in 1965 in Chillicothe, Ohio in retail Plumbing, Electrical, Paint and Hardware. 1980 Director of Home Center, WR Grace, Atlanta Georgia, installed sales, lumber and building materials. 1985-2002, Consolidated Stores / Value City, from Buyer to General Merchandise Manager over tools, hardware, paint, electrical, plumbing and home improvement with overseas travel twice annually. 2002 gained formal inspection training and joined largest Central Ohio home inspection franchise as General Manager. A.S.H.I. certified after passing national home inspection exam, licensed by state of Ohio for wood destroying insect inspections. Ken is a Master Mason and belongs to York Lodge in Worthington.

	Jerry Landon recently retired after 33 successful years with ArvinMeritor (Rockwell) Corporation as a production planning supervisor. He recently completed 90 hours of classroom instruction with Inspection Training Associates in Houston, Texas. Jerry currently resides in Utica, Ohio. Jerry brings a lot of specialized training and experience to our home inspection team and is currently working towards his certification with ASHI.

	Andy Shirkey knows homes inside and out and knows how to evaluate, inspect, list and sell them. His love for the inspection industry hasn't waned as he pursues licensing as a full time realtor. Andy has done home inspections for 5 years, is NAHI certified and prior to joining our staff at Kustom worked with Ken at a Central Ohio franchise where he was one of the most competent inspectors. Andy has a keen eye and his attention to detail serves our clients well in this industry.

All inspectors at Kustom Home Inspection have been CERTIFIED by A.S.H.I or N.A.H.I. All inspectors are employees of Kustom Home Inspection and are therefore required to maintain established professional criteria. To date, we have performed over 3,500 home inspections. The company has a buyer comfort level warranty for 120 days. All buyers are given a 96 page owners manual on how to operate their home, free of charge. The company not only carries E&O Insurance but includes an endorsement for brokers and real estate agents-at no expense to the agent. We use an electronically generated reporting system complete with digital photos. We not only do home inspections, we are certified / licensed to perform gas, termite, well, septic, environmental and structural engineering.
